Reef Rox^tm

Light and porous

Reef Rox^tm is like coral mousse. It is light, airy and highly porous. It resembles true Live rocks found in the reef. It has been designed to have a microscopic internal structure that is unique. Unlike synthetic live rocks make from cement and concrete that are solid and heavy, Reef Rox^tm are very light and can absorb huge volumes of water, just like a sponge in a filter.

Calcium structure

Borrowing from nature, Reef Rox^tm are made from the same natural Calcium backbone from real live rock and coral skeletons and are completely aquarium safe. They are completely unreactive, containing no harmful chemicals and do not need any curing time. They can be put directly into any marine habitat and they will have no adverse effects on the water chemistry. Because they are so porous they displace a lot less water than other kinds of synthetic live rocks.
