The Superman mushroom coral is an easy but colourful variant for beginner reef or coral keepers. It is a red mushroom with blue polka dots. The blue dots become more or less visible, depending on the spectra of lighting used. More UVs bring out the blue dots better. It is named after Superman's blue and red costume. It is probably a Discosoma nummiforme species.
